If you are one of the five people or so who occasionally reads my blog, then you've seen all this before.
When the azaleas and camellias bloom and the ferns uncurl I just can't resist taking pictures.
I do it every year, and these look just like the ones I posted last year, the same as the ones I take every year. I promise they are not those shots, however. These came from this year's crop, and each year I think this has to be the best year yet. In fact, I'm sure that this is the prettiest spring, and the prettiest azaleas and camellias, ever.
I've been just too busy lately to think about writing a blog entry, but I have these lovely photos and I just had to share them.
These were taken with my little Canon Powershot. I love that little camera.
It rained over the weekend - stormed, really, and these lovely little gifts are mostly gone now. But thanks to my little camera, I can still enjoy them.
Just some of the ordinary, everyday gifts of springtime in GA.
Sometimes I think "what's the use? Why even have a blog - I'm clearly not a writer" (hehe, clearly), but it is a good place to park these little delights, save them for a rainy day, go back now and then and recall the truly glorious spring days we have had so far this year.
So just when I think I won't bother with it any more, spring arrives with her same old tricks, only better than ever, it seems, and I can't resist sharing my azaleas once again.
Warms even my cynical old heart.
And gives me hope.
(And I was soooo tired of those little snow photos of the last post way back in Feb. Anything to freshen up the page, right?)

Ah - beautiful photos. I love flowers...and right now "spring-time" is still just bare and brown where I live (Moscow, Russia).
Looking at your pics made me feel like I just took a little virtual trip to Georgia - thanks! :)
I would be sad if you stopped posting altogether. And I, for one, enjoy your lovely photos; particularly anything to do with spring. I love having a "virtual friend" who is getting spring beauty ahead of me. It makes me remember that it is indeed on its way. Even though she is taking her time getting here, I know that if she's been to visit my friend in GA, then she'll be here in IN soon. Thanks for the reminder.
And, as someone who has about 5 readers as well, I say keep posting!
Don't stop publishing. I love your blog. Cool flowers and great writing.
